- Tum Tum Tree Designs is an innovative company that focuses on sustainability. We design primarily children’s wear and accessories.
- Why Hemp?
- Hemp is up to four times stronger than traditional cotton fabric and is naturally resistant to pests. It is such a strong virilant plant that it chokes out other plant growth, requiring no herbicides for cultivation.
Hemp requires less water for processing into fibres as compared its contemporaries in the textile world. Hemp grows very quickly and typically has a higher yield than most fibre crops.
Hemp is naturally resistant to mold and mildew. When woven into textiles, its hollow core fibre gives it insulative properties and also offers protection against harmful UV rays from the sun.
In terms of durability hemp is second to none. A perfect fabric for the eco-fashionista.
- Where?
- Items are designed and made locally in in the beautiful Okanagan Valley in the Pacific North West. Kelowna, Btitish Columbia to be exact.

- We make classically inspired children’s clothing that utilizes the versatility and durability of an age-old textile for stylishly comfortable gear.
